1. Using the Classifieds

Shetland Pony Classifieds provides a platform for users to browse and post advertisements for Shetland ponies. The site itself does not buy, sell, or breed ponies — it simply connects buyers and sellers.

• You must be at least 18 years old to post a listing.
• All listings must relate to Shetland ponies and be placed in the appropriate size category: Miniature, Standard, or Midi.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, including the description, price, location, and any registration details.

2. Listing Rules

When you submit a listing, you agree to the following:

• Listings must be truthful and not misleading.
• Photos must be of the actual pony being advertised and must not infringe anyone else's rights.
• Prices must be stated in GBP (£). Listings with a price of £0 may indicate "price on application" — please make this clear in your description.
• You must not post duplicate listings for the same pony.
• The site reserves the right to remove any listing that breaches these rules without notice.

3. User Accounts

To add a listing, you must register for an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. The site may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Buyer & Seller Responsibilities

Shetland Pony Classifieds is not involved in any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not:

• Guarantee the accuracy of listings or the availability of any pony.
• Handle payments, transfers, or delivery arrangements.
• Verify the identity, credentials, or claims of any seller or buyer.

You should carry out your own checks before entering into any agreement. We recommend meeting in person, viewing the pony, and verifying any registration or veterinary records independently.

5. Intellectual Property

The Shetland Pony Classifieds name, logo, and site design are protected. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish substantial parts of the site without permission. By posting a listing, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your content on the site.

6. Limitation of Liability

Shetland Pony Classifieds is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from any transaction you enter into as a result of using it.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Please check this page periodically.
